BAE Systems to Develop New Helmet Mounted Display for RAF's Typhoon Fleet

The UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) has granted BAE Systems a contract to advance the Striker II Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) for the Royal Air Force (RAF) Typhoon fleet.

Striker II incorporates an all-digital night vision system and a daylight-readable color display, projecting essential information directly onto the pilot's helmet visor, creating an augmented reality overlay of real-world surroundings and mission-critical data.
